Dye Oxide Patinas by Sculpt Nouveau

Dye-Oxide Patinas are a cross between the Solvent Based Dyes and a patina. All of the colors are transparent and may be blended or layered together to achieve any color.

Like the Universal Patinas, Dye-Oxide Patinas are UV safe, non-reactive, and do not contain acids. They may be applied in any manner using any traditional hot or cold patina application technique. The Dye-Oxide Patinas adhere best when the metal is warmed (180-200°F)

Colors:   Violet, Blue-Green, Green-Blue, Pea Green, Orange, Brown, White, Blue, Stealth Green, Green, Yellow, Red and Black

Sculpt Nouveau patinas are pre-mixed, ready-to-use patinas that can be applied to metal or to a surface that has been treated with a metal coating to create an infinite array of beautiful colors and surface finishes. We offer three types of patinas: Universal Patinas, Traditional Patinas, Vista Patinas and Dye Oxide Patinas, as well as Patina Stains. Each type of patina is available in a wide range of rich colors and may be mixed together with other patinas within its group to form different shades. The different types may be applied over each other or mottled around in areas to make the patina more interesting. Usual coverage is approximately 200 sq ft per gallon. All patinas are designed for indoor and outdoor use with the exception of Traditional Blue.
