Save the date for our next workshop.
This two-day course will walk students through a variety of mold making and casting techniques using Townsend Atelier's silicone and urethane materials. Through lecture, demonstrations, and lots of hands-on experience, students will be instructed how to make a one-piece and a two-piece re-usable mold, how to make castings, and how to create a variety of post-finishes. Techniques for using Knead-a-Mold, Brush-a-Mold, Townsend Casting Resin and finishes will be covered. This workshop is perfect for any artist or crafts person wanting to learn how to work with these versatile materials or for those who would just like a refresher course.
Instructor: Stan Townsend. Stan has over 25 years of experience in mold making, casting, making art, and teaching.
Registration is necessary. Space is limited to 15 students so register early!
All materials included. A tasty lunch and snacks will be provided each day.
