Finishing Waxes by Sculpt Nouveau
The finest quality waxes (microcrystalline, carnauba, and clear bee’s wax) have been specially blended and designed to work for metals, metal coatings and patina finishes. Containing UV inhibitors and hardeners, this wax is incredibly durable, long lasting, and suitable for outdoors. The wax will dry with a hard and beautiful finish and can be used alone or over another clear sealer. Can also be tinted with solvent dyes. Each color of wax is made in two formulas - one for bronze, brass, copper, and aluminum - and the other for iron & steel. Although designed for metal, our waxes will work well as finishes or stains on other materials like ceramic, concrete, stone, wood, or resins.
This wax is great over another clear protective coating or used alone. It also works well over a rusted surface or patina. For rusted iron or steel that will be placed outdoors, we recommend applying Permalac Laquer first, then our wax.
