SOLVENT-BASED RELEASE AGENT WITH MOLD LIFE EXTENDERS

Our aerosol release agent is a  transparent coating formulated to shield and protect your molds from urethane and epoxy reactions during molding.  Our non-transferring vapor deposited coating is designed specifically to bond to our silicone molds (Knead-a-Mold and Brush-a-Mold) and our urethane products like Swell Shell.

Our polymer formulation extends the life of your molds by lubricating the surface and helps reduce surface air bubbles occurring in poured casting resins. 

When sprayed onto the mold, Townsend Atelier Release Agent™ dries and vaporizes immediately when sprayed 18” from the mold.  Release Agent will instantly bond to the mold surface and insures 100% surface coverage when the spray is applied from all directions. The surface of your casting will retain its original surface characteristics--- gloss surfaces remain glossy, matte surfaces remain matte-like and clear resins remain crystal clear without any hazing.
